Costa Blanca South (White Coast) / Orihuela Costa

Orihuela Costa  (the coast of Orihuela) is approximately 20 kilometres from the historic city of Orihuela. This part of the Costa Blanca coastline stretches from Punta Prima to just south of Campoamor and boasts the beautiful sandy beaches of Punta Prima,Playa Flamenca,La Zenia,Cabo Roig and Campoamor.

The Orihuela Costa basks in the sunshine for over 300 days per year with average temperatures of around 20 degrees, in July and August the temperature can rise to 40 degrees or more providing the area with some of the warmest weather in Spain. Orihuela Costa is conveniently located to strike out to other areas of Spain with access to the motorway AP7 and the N332 coast road. The N332 coast road has recently been widened to a four lane dual carriageway from Guadarmar (north of Torrevieja) to Pilar de la Horadada (south of Mil Palmeras). Both these roads give convenient access to Murcia and Alicante airports both offering cheap flights from the UK and the rest of Europe.

The Orihuela Costa also proudly boasts the fantastic golf courses of Villamartin,Las Ramblas and Campoamor making this the perfect area for golfers all year round. The World Health Organisation considers this area to be one of the healthiest in the world due to its micro-climate created by the salt lakes at Torrevieja and La Mata.
